About

Otorhinolaryngology is the branch of medicine that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, and head & neck disorders. The department reflects the enormous advancement and growth occurring in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art instruments, including microscopes and endoscopes, at the operating theatre and OPD. Apart from Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeries, the department also performs Head, Neck, and Skull base surgeries. To emphasize teaching, all procedures in the operating theatre and OPD are demonstrated on monitors. Videos of interesting findings and surgeries are prepared, and cadaveric dissections of the temporal bone, paranasal sinuses, skull base, and neck are conducted.

The department is continuously involved in research activities and boasts several International and National Publications to its credit.
