About
Physiology is a Greek word (Physis: nature; Logos: discourse). The term was coined by Jean Fernel, a French Physician. 'Physiology' is the scientific study of normal functioning of the living systems. Human Physiology is concerned with the way the human system functions and contributes to the functioning of the human body as a whole.
At the undergraduate level, it is a subject of importance as it apprises the students of the normal functions of the human body, its physiological processes, and mechanisms.
