The Department of Ophthalmology proudly celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of its faculty and postgraduate residents, who have brought recognition and academic excellence to the institution through their dedication, presentations, and achievements at prestigious national forums.
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Ulka Srivastava, Professor and Head, Department of Ophthalmology, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by WOS–WOW during the national CME “Science Meets Soul – 2025” held in New Delhi. This prestigious recognition celebrates her remarkable contributions to ophthalmic education, patient care, and clinical excellence over the years. The college congratulates Dr. Srivastava for this distinguished honor and applauds her continued leadership and commitment to the field.
Dr. Ayusha Khatediya, First-Year Postgraduate Resident, actively participated in the CME – Chakshushi organized by MPSOS, held in Gwalior in September 2025. She presented a poster on the podium and engaged in various scientific sessions, gaining valuable knowledge and exposure to recent advancements in ophthalmology. The department commends her enthusiasm for academic growth and scholarly contribution.
The department also congratulates Dr. Salila Pandey, Dr. Chhaya Yadav, and Dr. Shivani Yadav, First-Year Postgraduate Residents, for their active participation in the WOS–WOW “Science Meets Soul” CME, held in New Delhi in October 2025. All three residents presented their research posters on the podium, showcasing their academic curiosity, research aptitude, and commitment to continuous learning. Their participation reflects the department’s focus on nurturing young clinicians into confident and skilled professionals.
